So lovely to be given fresh vegetables, bread and milk, and even fresh carrot juice! Also loved the farm tour given by Jodi while we there, which enabled us to learn more about regenerative practices. Both Tanya and Jodi were so generous with their time, and lent me a bodyboard and flippers for a swim too. Recommending this to all our friends!

Comfortable Accommodation: Escape in New Plymouth offers a bed and breakfast with one bedroom and a living room. The property features a sun terrace, garden, and open-air bath. Probably our favourite accommodation in the whole of NZ! The perfect place to spend a few days in Taranaki; comfy, cozy, everything has a touch of luxury, SO CLEAN, friendly hosts. Would recommend to anyone staying in this area.

The Devon Hotel and Conference Centre boasts a buffet restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free use of mountain bikes. The property offers free on-site parking and free WiFi. The pool was small but good enough to ease a few aches!! The buffet had an excellent choice of varieties and good value !!!

Auto Lodge New Plymouth offers a restaurant, bar, heated pool and hot tub, just 5 minutes’ walk from Fitzroy Beach. Hot indoor pool and spa included. Clean and comfortable beds. Rooms have a fridge.

The 4-star Plymouth International offers contemporary studios, deluxe king studios and dual living Plymouth Suites complete with double spa bath. The Hotel Plymouth International exceeded my expectations! For the price, it’s a fantastic place to stay. The pool was great, the staff was friendly and the room was surprisingly spacious. I especially loved the large shower, the great storage space for luggage and the very comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again!
