Fantastic private location right on the waterfront but only 5 minutes drive from the wharf and town. Incredible view. Fabulous chalet ("chalet" doesn't do it justice, perfect for those who appreciate 70's/80's architecture with high ceilings and 45 degree angles. The 12-year-old called it "awesome" and said he wanted to live there forever). Two large bedrooms each with a huge ensuite, big well-equipped kitchen and convenient in-chalet laundry. Amazing outlook from large windows in all the rooms. Thoughtfully furnished. Lovely gardens and expansive balconies. A pool house which we didn't use, but good advice from the hosts on the best hot baths in town. Really helpful communication from the hosts, timely and upbeat, nothing too much trouble.

It felt like a family member was welcoming us home. The place was clean, overlooking lake Taupō. It has good space to spread out! Thank you for the bag of chocolates on our arrival as well!

It was the day before our 20k Tongira Alpine Crossing hike and everything to relax was there in the beautifull guarden!

Just 300 metres from the lakefront of Waipahihi Bay, Little Haven offers an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. The self-contained apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. We liked the room we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom family room, there were lots of things on site for the kids to enjoy, especially the pool. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The Little Haven was close enough to everything we wanted, including a takeaway and a small grocery shop. All of the facilities were modern and new. A great place to stay at a reasonable price if you are in Taupo.

Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. The host Peter was wonderful and welcoming. Location is amazing. Really a great stay, everything that we needed was there, neat, clean and tidy. Amazing view, pools were lovely. It felt like a 5 star experience.

The Reef Resort Motel offers self-contained accommodation on the edge of the Lake Taupo. The property features an outdoor heated freshwater pool and a thermal pool with a hot tub. The rooms were huge with a small kitchenette, access to laundry in the hotel and the pool / hot tub area was fabulous. Easy access to the lake beside the hotel and a fabulous walk along the lake also.

Το Idyllic Getaway - modern and stylish with private spa είναι σε Taupo, σε απόσταση 37 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park. This home was absolutely stunning! Clean, well equipped, comfy and warm! We LOVED everything about this home. Was so hard for us to leave this home made us feel so much at home. I could go on and on about how amazing our stay was but we will most definitely be booking again in the near future.
