It was a lovely space and we wished we could stay longer. We enjoyed looking at the stars in the hot tub before our snooze in the comfy bed!

Guests enjoy a children's playground and a games room. The owner was lovely and gave some good recommendations. Shower was amazing and the room had everything we needed for 1 night.

Facilities at Anchorage Taupo include a hot tub and barbecue area. All rooms have been renovated and fully refurbished. Each includes kitchen facilities, and some also feature their own spa bath. The host Peter was wonderful and welcoming. Location is amazing. Really a great stay, everything that we needed was there, neat, clean and tidy. Amazing view, pools were lovely. It felt like a 5 star experience.

Enjoyed the spa bath, too. 5 minute drive into town and approximately a 15 minute walk to the Sailing Club, which is in a top spot too and do great pizzas.

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking holiday home features a hot tub. Beautiful home, well equipped and enjoyed staying there. We didn't use the spa but it looked amazing. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they provided a booklet of recommendations which was appreciated.
