It is the best way to see and enjoy the 8th Wonder of the world, which indeed it is. One of the jewellery of our visit to New Zeeland was this experience, totally stunning. Governor suite is really amazing giving you the possibility from your room the great scenery and beauty of the fiord in a possible rainy day.

The whirlpool, the super comfortable bed and the underfloor heating were my absolute highlights, almost better than Milford Sound itself :D. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom was also nice. Jeff is an amazing, friendly host. We loved talking to him in the kitchen when he made breakfast.The to-go breakfast provided the other day was also very good and generous. And Eddie and Frenkie where lovely as well!

Niagara Ridge Retreat will always be remembered as the place where we first caught the aurora australis (Southern Lights). We rented the accommodation for 3 days 2 nights. Before the trip, we hoped to see the Southern Lights. So imagine the excitement when we actually caught it on the 2nd night/3rd morning of our stay, in the comfort of the accommodation. The location is perfect with amazing views. The weather was a bit chilly during our stay so we did not use the outdoor spa. The rooms are spacious and well heated. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. This is one of the best accommodations we had stayed. Highly recommend!

Spent hours watching the sea. And the house was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. And the location to the beach was wonderful. The hot tub was a lovely addition. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We truly did not want to leave (even in the rain)! I cannot praise the hosts or this apartment enough! The decor and furnishings were absolutely wonderful and made such an inviting and enjoyable environment. And the outdoor space: SPECTACULAR VIEWS, great table as well as seating area - and a hot tub! We were just stunned when we arrived to the 270 degree view. The pantry was really well stocked: cereals, milk, wine, chocolate, etc. -- above and beyond any other place we stayed on the trip!! The 'chilly bin' and water bottles were quite handy to borrow for our day trip to Milford Sound. If you needed something, it was likely there. Plus Susanna was a lovely host - she met us when we arrived and provided a great overview.
