Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. Amazing trip. Great informative staff and chef but particularly the captain. Well worth doing if only to get the Sound to yourself and you need the time to spot all the dolphins, seals and penguins. We had the suite upstairs which was incredible-we didn’t sleep much because of looking at the stars. It was a small group so everyone got to know everyone else. We will never forget this experience.

Zeer ruim en comfortabel appartement. Geweldig uitzicht waar je ook kijkt. Ook vanuit het huis vanwege de grote ramen. Heel verzorgd en zeer schoon. We voelden ons welkom door de hartelijke bejegening. Het voeren van schapen, alpaca en Big Dave de haan, was ook voor onze volwassen kinderen een leuke extra 😉 En ze mochten zelfs nog het lammetje melk laten drinken. De plek is heerlijk rustig en toch dicht bij Te Anau. Mooi wandel tracks vlakbij.

Tomogalak Lodge heeft een tuin, en biedt accommodatie in Lumsden met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de tuin. Being a farm location was fantastic, getting up in the morning and waking up to a view like that was extremely pleasing

Tukare Cabins bevindt zich op 6,2 km van Fiordland Cinema en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. It is a unique experience living in the nature. You can hear birds chirping at night and in the morning. Always greeted by the awesome view from our room every morning. It was really nice to be able to see the scenery and the panoramic lake view when showering. The toilet bowl seat is warm so it is super comfortable that you won’t want to get up! 😆 The cabin has all the necessities needed such as bedroom slipper, pots and pans (with cutlery), toaster, induction cooking, all consumables are complimentary (including a huge loaf of bread, cereals, milk, eggs and wine (red and white)!! Super generous). There is a dedicated car park lot for our cabin right outside. It’s only about 5-7 min drive from the town so it’s a good getaway from the crowd and noise. No noise from highway. V quiet and serene.

Perfect place to sleep if you do the Hump Ridge track. Hosts are very welcoming, free coffee and tea, and a jacuzzi after the track and a pizza made our stay more than comfortable.
