Auto Lodge New Plymouth offers a restaurant, bar, heated pool and hot tub, just 5 minutes’ walk from Fitzroy Beach. Very friendly staff, amazing comfortable bed. Will definitely be booking in at auto lodge again

The 4-star Plymouth International offers contemporary studios, deluxe king studios and dual living Plymouth Suites complete with double spa bath. Everything was brilliant, I am ashamed to admit that I completely forgot the names of the two wonderful ladies at the front desk. I’d accidentally booked the wrong day, but they were able to make it work. It was my mother’s first time in the country too and they’ve been raving about the night we spent there. Spent a night a few years prior with my then girlfriend, and came back as a result. This trip was even better and will definitely stay again the next time we’re up that way
