The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. Staff were lovely and gave excellent customer service. The architecture of the hotel is wonderful with a lot of wood. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional.

The vegetarian dinner at the restaurant was gourmet level and beyond our expectations. There are lovely paths up the mountain to the farm and temple, with even more stunning views. You are quite literally in the clouds early in the morning which makes Stardome an amazing place to stay. It was the perfect place to wind down after hectic days at Machu Picchu.

Las Qolqas EcoResort Ollantaytambo is gelegen in Ollantaytambo, op 21 km van Bus Station, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

We kwamen pas heel laat aan bij dit hotel, gelukkig was dit geen probleem en werden we uitstekend geholpen. De kamer was erg schoon en netjes, ook de douche was zeer aangenaam. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk! Als je op een rustige plek net wat meer buiten het drukke centrum wil verblijven is dit een goede keuze!

Lizzy Wasi Urubamba ligt in Urubamba, op 9 minuten lopen van Bus Station, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Wonderful place surrounded by the large, very well maintained garden and mountains, managed by very nice and helpful personnel. Window view, terrace, meals in the restaurant, rooms, variety of birds- all was very great.

Het Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness is gevestigd in een prachtige 17e-eeuwse hacienda, op de weg naar Machu Pichu. Such a beautiful property. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is lovely - serene and calm and the perfect place to stay for Sacred Valley. The gardens are very peaceful and quiet Our room was great - large and really well appointed and very relaxing. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of choice and the Spa was fantastic. The gym is also excellent. The team were all very good but a special mention to Andres, Luis, Wally and Diana who took great care of us and delivered exceptional personalised service. I had a treatment at the Spa with Yesica who was also fantastic .
