We were looking for a place to relax, spend time as a family outdoors, and get away from the normal routine of life... we are avid campers, but we decided to give Quinta dos Corgos a try after a stressful year and needing something easy. It was the best decision we've made in awhile as this place exceeded our expectations. We have stayed here 3 times already this year, and we plan to come back year after year. We have 4 kids ranging from 2yrs-9yrs. Between the playground situated between the tents, the mini farm with animals and fruit trees and a garden, the pool and coal-heated jacuzzis, the friendly staff, and the cozy tents, it's an incredible experience not just for the littles ones but for the whole family. The restaurant has delicious food when you want to treat yourself to a meal, but the equipped mini kitchen in the tent also makes it easy to throw meals together. All in all, amazing experience.

Located 1.5 km from the centre of Penela, HD | Duecitânia offers design accommodations in a natural setting. A 35-minute drive from Coimbra, this hotel comes with a restaurant and bar. The room, restaurant and swimming pool were all excellent. The food in the restaurant was amazing value and the staff were all very attentive. The scenery was stunning and we had a lovely circular walk on the small roads and tracks. We would have liked longer than one night here. We must give a shout out to Catia on reception. We were concerned about our next booking in Northern Spain. She was so helpful and reassuring after she was unable to contact the apartment owner. You were right Catia, all was fine and you are a star.

Then they served a delicious dinner, great thanks for chef, I'd say it is one of the best Portuguese cuisine I've ate in Portugal. The interior is very comfortable and cozy. Everywhere feels that people really care and love the place where they work. Thanks, it is inspiring.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Though out-of-the-way if you're walking the Camino, it is well worth it for the experience. We hiked to Condeixa-a-nova and took a taxi to the location. We were greeted by the owner, Tino, who was very friendly, gracious, and hospitable. Our room was great with a nice bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a balcony to sit outside. The kitchen, dining room and living room were lovely and everything very, very clean. It is out in the country with a huge olive grove all around and other trees and plants. Very relaxing setting. I highly recommend this place. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and are so glad we did.

Located in a schist village in some ways more charming than Piódão. Cozy place with a simple but more than ample breakfast. And all the firewood you could want for the fabulous fireplace. Everything I read in previous reviews here was absolutely true. Every little piece is beautiful and made with love. Staying here is a fantastic experience! The views from the house are even more spectacular than on photos. On the territory you feel like in the middle of the nowhere, but the town with a lot of supermarkets is just in 3km.
