Paraiso Douro offers a hot tub. Wow what a place to stay. The facility itself is impressive but the views even more impressive. The big challenge is getting there. A bit out of downtown Lamego and not easy to find even using Google maps. Missed the turn off three times - better signage would definitely help. Long winding road to get up to the facility so driving to get there late at night - need to be careful

The hotel is very modern but has been done sympathetic to its surroundings. Everything is spotless and the staff are excellent. The beds were supremely comfortable.

The people at the front desk are all super friendly and provide amazing service. The rooms have eye for detail. And upon checkin we received a voucher for drinks at the bar, and a bottle of sparkling wine was waiting for us in the room, as wel as some fruits.
