Very friendly and helpful hosts, delicious local food (they adjusted the meals for me to be vegetarian), amazing view, sitting in the bathtub while looking at the mountains and listening to the flowing water was absolutely fantastic! They were kind enough to show us around a coffee plantation, and organize a little tour for us to the local cafe while dropping us off at the airport. One thing to be mindful of is that the fastest road to the location is very steep and winding so be careful and use a vehicle that can climb big hills

It’s the perfect spot to recharge in nature. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and having a bubble bath while watching the sunset over the clouds honestly felt unreal. But what really makes this place special are the hosts, Fang and Lilly. They’re some of the warmest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. You can tell right away that this isn’t just another hotel — they genuinely care about creating a special experience for their guests. We had booked for two nights but ended up changing all our plans just to stay an extra night — that’s how much we loved it! Some details worth mentioning: Beautiful bungalows with modern amenities (only three total, so it feels very private) Super comfortable bed Everything was spotless Stunning views — especially the sunset from the bathtub! Delicious local food (most is included with your room). And the resturant itself is really authentic and amazing. They grow their own coffee and even showed us the differmet processes — we got to try different types during a little tasting session that felt almost ceremonial, surrounded by green mountains and clouds They offer transportation to and from Chiang Rai, which we definitely recommend — it was the easiest and most relaxing way to get there, with a few fun stops along the way. If you want to explore more, they can also organize day trips and show you local highlights. Just message them — they’ll sort everything out for you. We left feeling completely recharged and grateful. It was one of the best parts of our trip — peaceful, personal, and unforgettable.

Ma Family Coffee Farm ไร่กาแฟครอบครัวมะ is gelegen in Ban Huai Pong Nam Ron, op 24 km van Wat Rong Khun - de Witte Tempel en 34 km van Klokkentoren van Chiang Rai. This is a gem! I just picked a place to stay one night to visit the white and blue temple in Chiang Rai. I had no idea it was going to end up being one of our favorites of our trip in Thailand. The views, concept, vibe and the staff were incredibly wonderful. Our only regret was not having more time to stay there longer. It’s definitely worth it! 🪷
