Everything!!! The room was perfect with attention to every detail - it was like a cozy old cottage. The town itself is very very nice - just like in the movies, with great bars and BBQs. The hist was very friendly and answered our questions in a sec.

Featuring fire pit, Shadow Mountain Lodge and Cabins is located in Ruidoso. The shops and restaurants of Mid-Town are just 10 minutes' walk away.

The staff are what sets this hotel out from the others in the area. In every interaction here they went above and beyond. The pool was out of action, but, for a change, there were actually people working on it, as opposed to other hotels that just put up a closed sign. We will be back.
