Sunbirds Oasis Lodge is gelegen in Hoedspruit met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. We had the most wonderful stay only 30 mins from the gate to Kruger national park and surrounded by private reserves. We absolutely loved everything about this place. The lodge is tastefully decorated and the landscape is beautifully maintained. The staff were amazing, from the gatekeeper to the reception and restaurant teams, always eager to help and to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was also a pleasure to meet the owner, Tommy, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He assisted us with planning private game drives and gave us great tips for our self-drive safari adventures. The breakfast box was extremely generous, very well packed and perfectly organised. It didn’t only include breakfast, but also more than enough food to enjoy a picnic lunch in Kruger. Overall, our stay exceeded all expectations, and we can only say thank you to everyone at Sunbird Oasis Lodge.

Hippomoon lodge game reserve heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant in Hoedspruit. We only stayed for one night at the Hippomoon Lodge but were treated to quite an eventful time there. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and on meeting the colourful and effervescent Xavier, we were shown round our room which was nothing short of spacious, a large room with an equally large adjoining bathroom. I'm sure that Xavier would agree that the real star is lovely Patricia who was exceptionally kind and helpful. The hospitality here set the tone for our ZA experience, nothing was too much trouble. Xavier is a prolific raconteur so sit back with a drink and enjoy the anecdotes. The lodge is around 30 min drive from Hoedspruit Airport along an unmade road that will hopefully be completed soon. Around the lodge are a variety of animals that can be enjoyed at close quarters. Xavier took us out in his truck to explore the animals on the estate that included giraffe, zebra, ostrich and a variety of buck. In the evening, we were served with a lovely meal cooked to perfection, while appreciating the effort made to make my birthday really special. The electrical storm added a little sparkle to the evening. The lodge is a fun place to stay, roomy and very comfortable. You will be really well looked after and there is plenty to see just by relaxing within the outside space that includes a small pool and recliners. Thanks again to Patricia and Xavier for their warm hospitality and helpful advice that set us on our way on what was a memorable trip.

Monkey Thorn Lodge & Wellness Spa - Adults Only ligt in Witrivier met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en... We stay with friends at this hotel. It was excellent and staff were very friendly. We eat in restaurant and for us we had pizza and we Italian. It was perfect pizza. The room was grand and elegant and the beds were very comfortable, we sleep very good. We highly recommend this hotel for holiday.

The Eco Hut heeft uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een balkon, op 17 km van Kinyonga Reptile Centre. Everything was amazing except the lounge pool flooded pool wasn't available understandably we were only there for one night I'd like to try it next time!

The Bird House ligt op 16 km van Kinyonga Reptile Centre, en biedt accommodatie in Kampersrus AH met toegang tot een hot tub. Such a lovely place and the friendliest host!! They taught of everything you might need! Will definitely visit again.

Zazu Private Bush Lodge, Formerly Masodini in Hoedspruit biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een bar. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Alles was fantastisch. We hadden nog veel langer willen blijven. De ranger had passie voor haar vak en leek soms meer moeite te doen en geduld te hebben bij het spotten van de dieren dan we bij andere jeeps zagen. Het eten was heerlijk. De personeelsleden waren allemaal heel vriendelijk en prettig in de omgang. De accommodatie en lodge zelf waren ook super fijn. De olifanten kwamen ook nog vlak langs de lodge lopen.
