Very clean, comfortable room, amazing bed sheets with feather pillows and blanket. It was impossible to get out of the bed for a site seeing 😁 The best from all the hotels and guest houses i have visited during my trip. Highly recommended.

The owner contacted me via whatsapp before we even arrived. A very nice lady let us in. We only used the accommodation for a quick shower and a short rest. Everything was explained and shown to us. Payment in cash. Overall we were satisfied.

    This was very poorly restored in Soviet times.

    This was very poorly restored in Soviet times. You see cement made from coal ash waste and rebar all over the place, and you can't tell what's original and what's modern rebuilding (most of it seems to be the latter, again very poorly done). However, the attached museum at the foot of the hill is quite nice and I found the staff extremely nice and enlightening (you might even get a wonderful free folk-music performance by real pros)--just don't expect much of the fortress itself. The trip out and the view from the top offer a good overview of what the modern parts of Yerevan are like.
