We had dinner at the restaurant, since we arrived late the kitchen was about to close. The staff did everything they could for us to have a decent meal and had the best! chips during our whole trip! :)
Also the spacious bathroom and the hot shower was amazing!

AustraliaI just appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the warmth of the hotel in both the lounge area and my room.
After spending 2 weeks sleeping in my van and breaking down in Mt Gambier it was great to have a warm comfy bed and shower without it costing me an arm and a leg.
Thank so much to everyone at the Commercial hotel for helping me have a great stay while here in Mt Gambier, and I will recommend it to all my friends!

The Blue Lake is really nice and a good place to visit.
The Blue Lake is really nice and a good place to visit. It is a shame that a location with so many natural beauties has been built up around and in the middle of suburbia. This place would be sooo much better if it was a large protected national park with the town a few kilometers away

The calm deep blue lake is impressive to see from above.
The calm deep blue lake is impressive to see from above. On top of that are the wildlife and vegetation around it. We got to the lake around 7am and we saw a kangaroo hopping pass nearby park and a wallaby hopping around the lake.

The natural view from the cabins was lovely and the kids loved the heated indoor pool. Being walking distance to the Blue Lake was great too.

Good value for money, it's an older place but with a renovated bathroom ,it had everything you usually get as in a kettle, microwave, cups with tea coffee and complimentary biscuits, the one thing it didn't have was a hair dryer as I wanted to dry off my hair but couldn't. It's close to the shops by car and not far from the blue lake and sink hole

Maggie's place is only a few minutes drive away from Blue Lake and also a few minutes drive into the city area. We had everything we needed at Maggie's place for our 2 night stay.

Check-in was quick and easy, and check-out was just as simple. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming!Great location – just a short distance from the Cave Gardens and Blue Lake. I’d definitely come back again in the future!

The room is spacious with modern bathroom. The restaurant downstairs provides delicious food and nice wine. Hotel is at central location. Art Gallery is across the road and it's only a short drive to Blue Lake. Staff is extremely helpful. I left my jacket in hotel wardrobe. They found it and mailed back to me.
