Mark was really helpful and friendly. When we first arrived, the hotel was full so we got the room near the kitchen. It was okay, but small and the toilet didn’t smell great. We didn’t ask, but the next day when people checked out, Mark automatically offered to shift us to a courtyard facing room. The second room was more spacious and had natural daylight, which we really liked. We didn’t feel cold (we were there the first week of January), the property was heated well. If you are a light sleeper you might be disturbed, because noise from people in the courtyard will drift in. It didn’t affect us. If you call a didi, you can lookup “Beijing Kailijia hotel”.

The room was amazing and the service impeccable. They helped me with everything I needed and everyone that worked in the hotel was extremely kind and friendly. There's a gentleman that speaks perfect English in case you don't know Chinese or don't speak it very well. The bed was to die for, I've never slept so well in my life. It's close to renmin university, the subway, a mall, some fast food shops and right in front of a convenience store. It's worth every penny.

The Staff!! So helpful and kind. I don’t speak Chinese so all communication was done through a translator, and the device they have on reception is far better than google translate! Their patience in talking to me like this was great and made the check in so comfortable. The room was comfy, quiet and dark everything i needed after a night flight. Soft drinks and water are complementary along with tea and coffee which when asked the maid didn’t hessite to assist in my caffeine needs and supply me with more coffee😊 the local metro station is an 8/10 minute walk and it is on line 2 which is very convenient to get to the attractions. When i checked out early (no fault of the hotel, just a change to my plans). Again the staff were so helpful in assisting me and they straight away gave me a refund for the 2 nights, which was unexpected, but much appreciated!!! I will happily stay here again next time

The comfy beds and the quiet environment. Although the hotel didn't provide breakfast, there are quite a few eateries open early in the morning. We like the food provided by restaurant "Er you ju" right outside the hotel.
