The breakfast was an excellent spread of chinese and western. Personally, I love the chinese spread, being in China, I want to eat something Chinese. The hotel location is at the centre of tourist spot, yet away from crowd and near main road where you can get cab easily. Also near an MRT station. Makes going anywhere convenient. The staff were attentive and gave clear directions and instructions to the places that we want to go.

The Ritz Carlton in Nanjing is a wonderful structure. The hotel is just amazing, and the staff extremely kind and attentive. Our room was at a high floor and the view we had on the city was stunning at night. The room itself was huge, with sophisticated furniture and decorations. Flair, the bar at 62nd floor is beautiful, with a wide selection of drinks and snacks, and the Chinese restaurant at 39th floor exceeded our expectations: wonderful atmosphere and amazing food. Altogether it was a memorable stay. We wish to be back soon!

Nanjing Museum

The Nanjing Museum is one of the best places to learn about China’s rich cultural history. With a collection ranging from dinosaur times to the modern day, the massive complex sprawls out over numerous buildings, focusing on calligraphy, painting, technology and dynastic artefacts, to name a few. You’ll see everything from ancient pottery to contemporary paintings, so be prepared for a fascinating (and completely free) visit.
