No doubt about rating this hotels. I would give 20 if this was allowed. Everything above expectations. Design (art deco), room quality with the highest appreciation to every detail. Delicious and variable breakfest. Super helpful and understanding oersonell. Great location. Breathtaking window view. Top of the Top!

we stayed in lux suit and it was great size,very luxury and nice.Comfortable bed,big bathroom,everything was perfect,location is also on the bund,close to everything.. Have in mind to prepare translator on your phone,because the language barrier is everywhere,nobody speaks english but i saw this everywhere in all hotels.I liked really everything

We had one of the most outstanding "HOSPITALITY" experiences of our lives during our 2 nights at the Shanghai EDITION Hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal, located on the main shopping street. Just a few steps to the Bund, which is an unparalleled experience, especially in the evening illumination. It has a special atmosphere. The room is spacious and comfortable, with a bathroom with both shower and bath. The view from the room's large windows is unrivalled. Yet, what was even more striking was the extraordinary helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff. Throughout our stay we felt important and they looked for ways to make our stay easy, comfortable and enjoyable. I would recommend the bar on the 26th floor, the view is wonderful. The roof terrace is also special, but the cold winter weather during our stay did not allow us to enjoy it, but even at this time of year it should not be missed for a few panoramic photos.

Lots of people trying to get you to spend your money!

Lots of people trying to get you to spend your money! They really try to push you to buy things here. Make sure you pay at least half price that they ask! If you don’t like pushy sale methods, like constant chasing and pastoring it’s not the place for you. If you can handle that, it can be fun. But I found it very much touristy l! We won’t go again. Find a more genuine place. We stayed only one hour and that was enough for us as it was so packed with yourselves it made it difficult to visit…

Do not get led into a tea ceremony with so called students. They are not students and the yes ceremony will cost you a fortune. We had to push our way out of a small house and run to get away from the people and the students.

The hotel is at a great location, 5 minutes from Yuyuan metro station, +/- 10 minutes from the fabulous Yu Garden, and even the Bund is reachable walking some more. ;) Everything else within easy reach by metro. By the way, if you have the option to choose how to arrive in Shanghai, Hongqiao is much better connected (both airport and rail station). The staff are very attentive, breakfast is quite good, room is spacious and comfy. We were very happy to stay here for 4 nights and would come back.

Great location, right next to Yu Gardens! The staff were very helpful and communicative, especially Lumy who assisted us during our stay :) The hotel is new, clean and comfortable. The staff are very kind and breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Would highly recommend and stay here once again!

Conveniently located near metro station and Yu Gardens. The bund is also within walking distance. Loved the room and that the hotel provided customized key tags for the kids. They even have welcome fruits and snacks. Very welcoming!

The room was spacious and spotless, and both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is just a short walk from the metro and Yu Garden, which made getting around easy. The staff were friendly and the views from the room were lovely.

We actually loved everything there. The location was perfect. We easily walked to the bund , North bund and Yu garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and cozy. The free laundry service made the trip back home so good with all clean clothes. The breakfast was like magic ,loads of choices. I liked a lot of vegetables they prepared for us. Apart from all varieties, the food was yummy. This was one of the best hotel we’ve ever been. I told all my friends about how nice Atour hotel was.

We had the Suite with the Bund river view (RMB 1900 per night) which was beautiful especially at night. The room as expected was very spacious and the staff (ground floor lobby) were exceptionally helpful with where and how to get to different places. Would have rated the hotel with a higher score except that every night our stay is ruined by the smell of cigarette smoke. Easy access to Yu Garden, the Bund and plenty of good food options around the hotel.

This was an excellent hotel, clean, beautifully designed, with stunning views and friendly staff. The location was excellent for seeing the Bund & Yu Garden. The hotel went above and beyond in offering a wide range of free activities for guests and the hotel breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options.

I had a wonderful stay at Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel. The front desk team was courteous and very helpful throughout my visit ( Special thanks to Ms.Hannie). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast offered great variety and quality. The location near Yu Garden is excellent, with several halal restaurants and a mosque located just a few meters from the hotel, very convenient for Muslim visitors to Shanghai. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommended!

We loved the comfort of the room! Had everything we needed and were lucky enough to get a room with the view of the skyline. The hotel was in such a good location- a walking distance to the bund, convenience store, Yu garden ( about 15 minutes ), a train station, Nanjing road not too far. The staff were so kind and very helpful.
