A wonderful accommodation on the Potsdamer Platz. Great, spacious and very-well-equipped suite. Comfy bed with a multiple choice of pillow and blanket options. Exceptionally nice and spacious bathroom with both huge tub and walk-in shower. Nice big balcony. Well-equipped and fully-stuffed kitchenette. Very clean and tidy. Quiet and with good blinds. Very nice and attentive staff. Very decent breakfast in a nice restaurant. Finally, a great lobby bar with tasty and interesting cocktails.

It is a must see location but the Instagram and Social Media...

It is a must see location but the Instagram and Social Media Content creators have turned it into a circus. Unpleasant watching "models" and "influencers" posing without any consideration of others in such a place. I am sure none of them took 10 seconds to understand the historical importance of this area.

We unfortunately didn't see the lights during the night, they were switched off, but make sure to go and see it then, it would be very beautiful, local friends told us usually the lights don't go off but we were unlucky.

Amazing sight in day or night.

Amazing sight in day or night. Nice seating on the riad/area leading up to the gate & easy access to Reichstag & River walk as well as the long road to the victory column - all worth a visit!

Grab a table at the cafe outside the Adlon and just sit for...

Grab a table at the cafe outside the Adlon and just sit for a bit with a drink and a snack - or have a meal; the food is great. Read up on the history and pay attention to the lines of the Cold War era walls in this area. - There's a great photo just inside the Adlon entrance that has the disabled ramp to really help you see where the walls were with relation to the Gate.

The hotel is in 20 minutes from the Central railway station and in 20 minutes from Museum island and Brandenburg gates. There isn't a central heat, but there is AC in the rooms. There is a vending machine with water, snacks, and beer at the hall. There is a possibility to check yourself using the machine.

Leonardo hotel is a cozy hotel in a very good location near the avenue leading towards Brandenburg gate and the city center. The hotel itself is not fancy, but it has all the necessary amenities, welcoming and attentive staff, rooms big and equipped enough and a very rich breakfast. Value for money is probably its best asset. They should also be very proud of their staff - at the reception and in the breakfast area especially.
