The location was perfect (in West Bank) and exactly opposite of all the boats. The stuff was really friendly, the owner and his family are amazing! They tried to make our stay even better. We loved our stay there. We take a cruise with their Felucca, too. The owner can organize everything. Thank you very much for all!

Visit the museum when it reopens at 8pm.

Visit the museum when it reopens at 8pm. It's not overwhelming like the national museum in Cairo, but it has numerous important statues and other artifacts taken from sites around Luxor that you view during daylight.

Absolutely super museum. Beautifully laid out and presented. Not huge, but that allows you time to really look at the exhibits. One tip: be careful about opening times, and don't necessarily believe the opening times you read on the internet!

All staff are lovely. Especially customer service manager Ali(not sure how to spell) was so caring. I didn’t have a chance to tip him but he was so nice to me. Also other staff are wonderful. And I loved the location. 2mins walk from Luxor Museum and I could see the Hatshepsut Temple from my room. Spectacular!! If I can come back to Luxor, definitely Eatabe hotel is my choice.

This was more expensive than I would usually book but I chose it for it's excellent location. We only had two nights / one full day on Luxor's East Bank and we could walk to Karnak, Luxor Temple, Luxor museum and the mummification museum from this hotel which also had a pleasant pool. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied - enough for breakfast and lunch. Room was clean.

The location is near Luxor temple and not far from Luxor museum and Karnak temple. It is very close to the boats that can easily ferry you across to the west bank and it is easy to travel to the Valley of the Kings from there. The hotel has a lovely view of the Nile.

The host facilitated the very late arrival of the bus from Aswan. Steven has six apartments, three of which we could choose from, ranging from traditional to stylistically supermodern. The location is one block away from the Corniche, which serves the Luxor Temple/ Luxor Museum/Karnack Temple. Hosting was exemplary and all extra needs were swiftly made available.

The Egyptian cuisine prepared by the chef and his team was wonderful - delicious and comforting. The host was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location on the West Bank of the Nile was also really interesting - close to the Valley of Queens and a short walk to Temple d'Amon (Medinet Habou) and the Colossi of Memnon It's also very easy to get a taxi to get the public ferry across the Nile to the Luxor Museum (don't miss it!).

The Merryland Hotel has an excellent location. The wonderfu Luxor Museum is a short walk away. We also found a nice independent coffee shop along the front called DV8 reckoned by the manager. The staff of the hotel are friendly and helpful. The early call to prayer from the mosque is a welcome reminder that I've is in Egypt and the sound of the school children means that this is not some sterile upmarket offering but rather a hotel that gives you a taste of traditional Egyptian hospitality.
