The location was excellent, very convenient and with a wonderful view. My room was beautiful and always perfectly clean. Water in the room was regularly replenished. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made my stay feel very comfortable. I also appreciated the farewell gift from the hotel upon checkout.

Alcazaba

This magnificent Moorish fortress was constructed during the 10th century, when Almería was named a 'medina' (city) by the Caliph of Córdoba. The grounds are beautiful, with fountains and gardens spreading out over the hilltop. As you explore, you'll look out over the ancient city and the sea.

We loved it- beautiful and calm small gardens & courtyards with stunning Moorish architecture. There are so many great photo opportunities but you need to be there early to take advantage of them, avoiding the crowds. If you intend to continue up the steep pathway to the Castle of Gibralfaro, be sure to hydrate well and take your time in the heat. It's quite challenging, even for enthusiastic walkers.

A total must when visiting Malaga.

A total must when visiting Malaga. Beautiful views and lovely architecture. We had a joint ticket with the castle and walked down .. it was great value. Where sensible shoes as the cobbles can be slippery on the way down.

Visit Gibralfaro first as it's on the hilltop and walk down to Alcazaba - this makes the stroll much easier than what many the opposite, that many tourists do. Also take Uber or bus 35 to reach Gibralfaro rather than walking up the hill.

Alcazaba is probably worth seeing, but I did not think it...

Alcazaba is probably worth seeing, but I did not think it was wonderful. It consists of a bunch of mostly empty rooms and areas. The layout is quite confusing, with lots of turns; it is deliberately confusing for defensive purposes according to our guide. The guide was not very good. She had clearly memorized a speech and got confused by questions.

Worth the visit.

Worth the visit. Less well know that it's big brother in Granada but very impressive and worth the visit. Really help to do your homework and get an understanding of the time & context of when the building was in use in order to understand how far ahead of the curve the Moorish occupation of southern Spain was & how they sparked the enlightenment period across Europe.

Lovely place! The apartment is located in the historic center, so all the bars, shops, and restaurants are nearby. It’s also close to the Alcazaba and the Roman Theatre. The apartment is cozy, with a very comfortable bed and sofa. It had everything I needed — a hair dryer, plenty of towels, an iron with an ironing board, and a nicely equipped kitchen with everything you need for some light cooking. Communication with the owner was excellent — very kind people!

It was very straight-forward to pick up keys and close to property. The property was perfect for our needs and very close to all things in Malaga Old Town centre. Also very easy access to the Alcazabar and nearby beaches. Restaurant's near to the property were excellent.

Our stay in the apartment in Malaga was a great experience! The location was perfect – close to the city center, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Within a few minutes, we could reach the main attractions such as the Cathedral, the Alcazaba, and the Malagueta Beach. There were also many restaurants, shops, and public transport stops nearby, which made exploring the city very easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.

We stayed in a superior double room. Room was large, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had everything you could need: tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge, hairdryer and toiletries. The hotel was in an excellent location beside the Alcazaba and had a lovely rooftop bar from which to enjoy the view. The hotel was on a busy street with lots of restaurants and bars nearby but was quiet at night. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

This is a great hotel very close to the Roman amphitheatre, the Alcazabar and the Castle. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. The location is good for exploring. It was our first time in Málaga and we weren't disappointed.

Since the apartment is equipped with all the necessary appliances, we prepared our own breakfast. The location of the apartment is perfect. Some main attractions, e.g. Plaza de la Merced, the Roman Theater, the Alcazaba, the Museum of Picasso's Birth-house and the Picasso Museum are a 4-10 minute walk away, while the others only take a few minutes more.
