Location is superb; the moment you exit the hotel, you are a stone’s throw from the key tourist sites and right in the centre of bars and restaurants. The hotel staff were incredibly responsive and accommodating to all requests. We had a rooftop room with a spa and a view of the cathedral; views were stunning and the room was well insulated from the outside noise. Complimentary breakfasts and afternoon teas were a treat. We would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Everything was very close. And the swimming pool is really cool in summer. The breakfast was delicious too. The staff was very helpful . They helped us choosing restaurants anf booked us a really great flamenco show. Rooms were very clean.

    A breathtakingly beautiful venue/ location.

    A breathtakingly beautiful venue/ location. Visit in the morning when it is cooler.If buying online tickets in advance, make sure you are on the official website- google directs to a site managed by Walkers Tours which charges doubke ( includes an audio guide that is not compatible with most devices!). Tickets also available from the ticket office with official guides readily available.

    I recommend doing a guided tour unless you already know a great deal about the structure, its history and design features. Getting some orientation about the place is invaluable, and then you can spend additional time on your own just exploring it.

    Simply breathtaking - building, decoration, mosaics, room after room had the most wonderful designs. Cafe very good and tame peacocks and ducks wandering around outside; gardens provided a relaxing space to sit down. Shop had lovely items.

    Visited Seville in October, it was apparently high season for touristswith temperatures between 36-41C, we unable to book tickets for Alcazar in the 3days of our visit. Tip 1 book Alcazar tickets on line.

    In my opinion, it’s the next most beautiful palace after...

    In my opinion, it’s the next most beautiful palace after Alhambra in Spain. For a relaxed visit give 2.5 hours but if you have limited time it could be done in 1.5 hours. Do not waste your money on the audio guide as it doesn’t work properly and also there are limited number of recorded points. Mornings are best times to visit and enjoy the vast gardens as it’s cooler then day time. You can take advantage of free visit on Mondays but do book online three weeks in advance as the tickets are limited and like gold dust.

    Our apartment had a beautiful balcony with great views. We were next to the Alcazar palace. The location was amazing and we would definitely stay again . We were in a two bedroom apartment. There is an elevator in the building but we did have some stairs inside the apartment as we were on the top floor.
