A beautiful stylish hotel. The reception staff were always welcoming and helpful. Our room was ready ahead of time, which was wonderful as we had arrived on an early morning flight. The breakfasts were amazing with so much choice of fresh and cooked food. The table staff were really polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms are well designed and have a great view of the plaza with lots of atmosphere.

Hotel's location is superb to reach restaurants, shopping, public transportation and many attractions. All staff, especially reception staff, are very courteous and helpful. Hotel's features and quality have been a perfect match with our expectations. The breakfast room and the food served is also very good. We will definitely stay here during our future trips to Madrid. Excellent Opera house, with a great seat pretty much...

Excellent Opera house, with a great seat pretty much anywhere, as it is a medium size opera house. Saw the NY Met's version of Medea last season, which was great, but the production here was even better! Note that online booking system has a 3D visualizer when choosing seating and none are cheap, but a fair value for the quality of the production.

Steps away from the bustle of Mercado San Miguel and Sol metro station and the calm of Plaza de Santiago, Teatro Real and Opera metro station. Strikingly beautiful historic building, 5 corner apartments, 1 per floor, with wrap around balconies. We were on the top floor with amazing views. Keyless entry, the host communicated all necessary details via messaging in a timely and crystal clear fashion.
