We booked an inside room so wasn't expecting much of a view. However, we had a corner room on the 6th floor which was excellent with big windows on two sides. The room was bigger than expected and the soundproofing was great...Couldn't hear a thing from outside. Tea and coffee was replenished daily and it was very relaxing.

Spacious and very quiet room with great views to the beautiful Tyne and its bridges. The breakfast was delicious. And the location unbeatable. Very nice and obliging staff, also. Would repeat any time.

The on-site restaurant was good although the breakfast was the standout meal we had. Dinner was uneven. My family had an excellent beef bourguignon, and the mussels I ordered were delicious. I also had a steak, but it was underwhelming and overcooked. Overall the meal was still good especially the pot du chocolate!

Interesting to see the building but disappointed by the...

Interesting to see the building but disappointed by the exhibitions that were on when we visited (just our luck that the weekend we were in Newcastle the theme just wasnt our cup of tea). Lots of families with young children and can see the attraction - lots of space with areas for them to play and draw etc
