Brixton

Brixton hits all the senses as soon as you emerge from the Tube station. Buskers line the street next to Brixton Village, where the aroma of cuisine from all corners of the globe mingles with the chatter of diners and drinkers. Close by, the Ritzy Cinema screens independent films galore, and it wouldn’t be London without a healthy dose of trusted pubs, scattered around the borough.

Great location. Quiet too. Cheap compared to hotel rooms I was looking at. Stayed for an event at O2 academy Brixton which is only a 5-10 min walk. Clean and tidy. Great accommodating host.

Location fantastic for O2 Brixton and in a quiet area. All the facilities were great including WiFi, bathroom and kitchen with complimentary toiletries. Initially confusing arriving but host messaged with details on how to access all the doors.

The size of the accommodation was great and the location was not bad considering that it’s in zone 2 of London in Brixton. Buses were regular. Fast food and supermarket were in walking distance if in need.

Easy access, code for front door and room, bit grotty outside but room was large, clean and great location for Brixton. Safe area.

Spacious is right. There was enough room and more. And it is a few minutes away from the main streets of Brixton with the Brixton Village cluster of shops next to it. Perfect.

What guests said about Brixton:

  • Check out all areas, don't use big chain names.

Check out all areas, don't use big chain names. Brixton has a great selection of cuisine from all over the world, and much better priced than central London. Don't judge restaurants by their appearance, look at the clientele, if it's busy then it's good.
