Finding their car park on arrival was not straight forward, but at reception, Kelly offered to come in the car with us, which was so helpful, had free use of the pool. Was a wet day, so stayed in for dinner which was excellent.

The new look Cumbria Park Hotel has been extensively refurbished with major improvements to our bedrooms, reception, and bar/lounge areas.

First of all in the Cumbria Park Hotel I met the dearest receptionist ever, he was very kind, very helpful and patient. Unfortunately I couldn't remember his name, but for me he was Santa Claus. In addition the hotel was really beautiful, we had huge and equipped rooms and the breakfast was awesome, especially the eggs benedict!!

Nestled amid acres of private woodland and glorious gardens, this magnificent Grade II listed castle is situated on the northern edge of the Lake District, surrounded by a golf club.

Super hotel. Tasty breakfast. Rooms are clean. Linen is nice. Staff are nice too. Not the first time I go and it is still as good as my last visit.

Located in the city centre and opposite Carlisle Rail Station, The County Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Carlisle Cathedral.
