Our room was bright and sunny. The bed was comfortable and the shower large with very powerful water pressure. The food in the restaurant was excellent. One problem we experienced was the noise from the busy road outside discouraged us from opening the window at night making the room a bit hot. Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane are a short car journey away. Also, lots of walks nearby Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well appointed. We sat outside in the beer garden after checking in on a beautiful sunny day. Walked down to the small village of Doune and to Doune Castle. Our evening meal was fantastic as was our breakfast. The background music playing in the hotel was great and we had a lovely break. Our bedroom decor was beautiful with the nicest welcome tray I have ever had in any hotel. The room was spotless.
