I had the most splendid and unforgettable stay at The Marine in North Berwick, an experience that was elevated to sheer perfection by the exemplary team working there. Every member of staff demonstrated the utmost care and professionalism, from the attentive room attendant, whose meticulous efforts ensured comfort at every turn, to the exceptionally skilled masseuse, whose expertise was unparalleled. The hotel itself is a stunning sanctuary, and my time there was nothing short of enchanting. This is an iconic hotel. No modern reincarnation could ever replace, or re-create what it provides. Opening the door, and being centimetres from the 10th tee at Muirfield is unbelievable.

We recently stayed at the Bonnie Badger in Gullane during our golf trip, and it exceeded all our expectations. The staff’s special attention to guests is outstanding. We loved the daily cookie and lemonade delivered to our room every afternoon. They also consistently remembered my spouse’s vegan diet at the continental breakfast, ensuring a delightful start to each day. The friendly bartenders made our evenings enjoyable, and the thoughtful parting gift at checkout was a wonderful touch. Highly recommend this charming hotel for an exceptional stay!
