The staff are particularly helpful and friendly. Thank you to Magdalena who always provides wonderful service and the lovely Spanish Gentleman at the reception who is extremely helpful. The location is excellent, a short walk into town and the rooms are well appointed. Beds are extremely comfy.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was beautiful and cosy, and the staff were extremely friendly. It was in a good location with a bus stop around the corner to bring you to the centre in 15 minutes. The owner gave us a map when we arrived with information on how to get around and very helpful tips on places to see. Our room was clean, warm and tastefully decorated. Breakfast each morning was delicious. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, I will definitely be back!

Excellent location! Located right between the old town and new town. Superb hotel with all the amenities one would need. We had the Vista room with the free minibar which was great. Good heating, nice room size, quality bed. We slept even better than at home!

Located on Princes Street, The Balmoral has a 4 AA Rosette restaurant, a pool and a gym. Waverley Station and Edinburgh's main shopping area are within 5 minutes' walk.
