Everything was wonderful, from the room, to the bathroom, to all the common areas. Breakfast was great value for money and served in a very nice setting.

The entire experience with this place was perfect. From the location, the host, the room, the breakfast (I got to say that it's the best I've ever had in hotels).... Just perfect. Totally recommend the place for any kind of stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious. My husband has a bad back an slept well. walking distance to most attractions in the city center.

Located on Princes Street, The Balmoral has a 4 AA Rosette restaurant, a pool and a gym. Waverley Station and Edinburgh's main shopping area are within 5 minutes' walk.

Every now and then you come across a hotel that really leaves you admiring every detail in and every interaction, and the Balmoral is one of those hotels, it is exactly what you would imagine an iconic 5 star hotel in the Scottish capital to feel like from the moment you enter to the moment you leave everything is immaculate and it's really earned it's reputation the room, the service, the food options were all spot on. it was our first holiday with our 5 month old first born and all his and our needs were catered for perfectly and we can't to come back.
