Thanks to Alessandra at the front desk for her fantastic service and hospitality. The room she moved us to was outstanding. The bed, toiletries, towels, slippers, everything was superb quality. Housekeeping staff were absolutely fantastic, and so was bartender Luigi at the American Bar. Alessandra and Mandy at reception, and also the man at reception on the day I checked out, were all fantastic. Basically mostly everyone was fab, and the concierge guys are as usual absolutely fantastic, especially the man in the bowler hat (sorry did not get a chance to ask for his name) is such a lovely man. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely blown away by the architecture and entrance.

Absolutely blown away by the architecture and entrance. We thought this was an incredible building. Our kids loved the exhibits and they were well done for the interior. It doesn't really compare to the Field's museum in NYC, though. But we are really glad we went and would recommend it.

Very organised, exhibits are amazing especially the blue whale exhibit. A great experience and a must if you are visiting London. Donations are optional and you are not pressured to do this. For a free venue it really is fantastic.

Location is wonderful (I stayed in same location before but in different hotel) Hotel is so close to Gloucester Road Subway Staton and also Earls's Court Subway Station. Walking distance to Hyde Park Holland Park, Natural History Museum, V&A etc. There ara so many markets, restorants around. The reason of my choice is location. And also price is so good for London. (I booked in May for december). Room was clean, lighting is so good, cattle&coffee offers is nice, staff is so helpful and problem solver, communication is clear.

Beautiful old buildings, great street 1/2 block with restaurants etc. Washing machine on site.

Very good location The Natural History Museum is opposite and the Science Museum is just around the corner. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the tube station. All staff were friendly and welcoming, superb continental breakfast with plenty of choice, cooked sausages with scrambled eggs were delicious. Rooms have iron and ironing board, safe, slippers, hairdryer, proper coffee machine and power shower. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing location, a couple of minutes from tube station and natural history museum, but still very quiet inside, could hardly hear the busy road outside which is unusual for central London. Apartment was very well appointed with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was nice with a great shower. Everything was very clean and friendly staff on reception. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed on the 5th floor and the view was great!

A very cosy room, with a good sized bathroom with a very comfy bed and pillows. A big bonus, there was a lift! The hotel is very close to Earls court station, which has the Piccadilly line that runs direct to Heathrow. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. V&A and Natural history museums are a 20 minute walk and High street Kensington a 10 minute from London Lodge Hotel. Highly recommend.

In England there's a tradition about museums as Alsace of culture, there are lots of activities devoted to kids. It is a place of interaction between objects and visitors and not only places to watch. If you have kids I suggest the natural history museum that is free as all the other Victorian museum, Tate, British, Albert....

National Gallery has nice cafe and afternoon tea at a reasonable price. Sundays at the Natural History Museum are mobbed with people with their children. Do not go on that day if you don't like crowds.
