The hotel is similar to a five-star hotel in terms of level. A young man checked us in, everything was polite and cool. They offered an upgrade and gave us a 2-hour late check-out. It feels like customer loyalty is a priority. We want to stay here again on our next trip.

Cool place, cosy and comfortable for our Christmas stay. Well kitted out kitchen. Nice beds. Really close to restaurants on Lower Marsh and The Cut. Can walk over the river to sights in central london. Very good travel connections as Waterloo is 5 minutes. Cassie was a responsive host. Would recommend.

The hotel location is perfect, a short walk from Waterloo undergorund and Waterloo train station, right next to Westminster bridge, south bank center with restaurants is also nearby. If you want to rake in a show, the theatres are about 10 minutes walk away, so is Covent Gardens. Staff was extremley friendly, the rooms were clean, very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing.

The property is such a good location, especially if you get the train in to Waterloo, it’s about 10mins/£15 via taxi to the hotel. It’s right next to mansion house tube station, that can get you anywhere you want to go! 10 mins walk from borough market, which is then near another main tube station. Overall it’s a great location and hotel, bedrooms are lovely, the whole place is very clean and modern. Staff are really attentive and friendly.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff and only 5 mins walk from Waterloo station. Immaculately clean room and bathroom and very quiet. The breakfast was good but very busy. The staff worked hard to keep everything topped up but it was a bit like the Dodgems! The sausages were particularly good but it would have been good had the cooked stuff stayed warmer. The heat lamps are ineffective. Even the freshly cooked items were quite cool. Also, the ambient temperature in the breakfast room was over cool.

You must remember that since the Norman invasion of 1066, this has been the seat of common law for any country that broke away from England. And the architecture takes you back to another time. We also had the pleasure of being there within a very celebratory week--both the 200 year anniversary of Waterloo and the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta.
