Go very early in the day, or very late, to avoid the huge crowds. Buy your timed tickets in advance, and they are separate from the museum. The museum is great, but there are several better collections in the center of Athens.
Nice to see but 30 euro is really too much for seing a few stones. Not much left of this area, like most temples of ancient Greece. We were a bit dissapointed. Greeks build an immage on the old history. A lot more labour of reconstruction could be done by escavating areas and putting the pieces together to look more like the original. Visitors should at least be permitted to walk inside the area of the temple.
Ancient wonder. It was a beautiful day when we visited the Acropolis. Majestic structure against blue skies. Tough parts of the monument is under renovation, the pathway for tourists was very well marked. People could walk around find the best photography angels and just soak in the history.
We did this tour please do the morning one, it is very hot, we had Ava, she was amazing, when led up up that hill in such a wise kind was, stopping and giving us amazing information, she was a pure delight, the whole time was magical but please do the museum, it's really special. Thank you Ava
Athens is a wonderful city to visit & explore… however, beware of Rogue Taxi 🚖 drivers! If they don’t display their photo/licence walk away! Even if they put on the “meter” it’s best to ask for a price and not accept an astronomical cost on arrival !🥺 The fare from Airport to Athens is around 50€ NOT 120€ which we were charged by 1 bandit in August! We found a very honest & friendly Taxi driver who spoke English - works for a company called “Athens My Transfer” check it on-line.
Go before sunset to the 6-7.30pm time slot and watch the sun go down. September is the perfect month. Wear non slip shoes. You can buy e-tickets at the bottom. If you travel on the train, take the Acropolis station. Shorter walk from there. Take water with you. Take lots of photos. This attraction is one of our world’s wonders not to be missed!! There is also a small ceremony taking the flag down before closing time.
The location was perfect for exploring Athens in the main tourist areas around the Acropolis, including Plaka, and the Acropolis itself. A short walk either way down Ermou Street, the main shopping street right near Villa Brown Ermou, takes you to Syntamaga Square or Monastariki, both being key areas of interest. There were also numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel facilities and staff were excellent, and any requests that we had were dealt with very professionally - would highly recommend staying at Villa Brown Ermou.
Athens sky & Acropolis view rooftop apartment is located in a calm and safe district of Athens very close to metro station Tavros (3-5 minutes by walking and only 3-4 stations from the central stations). There are markets, bakeries, shops, cafes and small restaurants close to the place. The apartment has a great view (is located right on the rooftop). The apartment was clean and there was everything you may need (iron, hairdryer, towels, kitchenware, shampoo, soap, shower gel). Perfect for one or two persons.

Our stay at Athens Acropolis was wonderful! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, complete amenities and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. Check-in was super easy and hassle-free. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to the main attractions, with convenient shops and great restaurants right around the corner. It made exploring Athens so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!
The apartment is in the heart of Athens and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable — just minutes away from major landmarks like the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, and lively neighborhoods such as Plaka and Monastiraki. The apartment itself was clean, stylish, and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the strong Wi-Fi and quiet atmosphere at night, despite being in such a central area.
Athens
Very good apartment in great location in quiet part of town. Plenty of restaurants are around the corner, some of them are excellent! Acropolis museum is just 5 minutes away and all the city's attractions are within walking distance. I highly recommend renting this apartment instead going for hotels in the center, which is extremely noisy.
Staff was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly! The hotel was near a very popular shopping area w/ restaurants as well as very close to the acropolis. I'm a heavy sleeper so can't really remark on the noise level and if it was bothersome. Room was clean and adequately large for being so central to Athens. Room was clean.

Beautiful property! Stayed in the penthouse. The perfect spot to experience all that Athens has to offer. Quiet street with a lovely coffee bar 30 second walk around the corner. Right across the street from the Acropolis Museum, restaurants, everything. Loved it!!!! A nice respite from hotel life. I would recommend and stay again!!!

The stay at the apartments next to the hotel is truly wonderful as you can use all the hotel facilities. Quick check-in, impeccable service, and clean spaces. All the attractions are very close, and there are also many dining options nearby. The view of the Acropolis is truly relaxing. Highly recommended.
Great apartment, lower ground level lovely and quiet. The location was awesome right on the Plarka 600 mtrs from the Acropolis and the markets in Old Athens Town and the archaeological museum, and great shopping in Athens. It is amazingly very well presented and equipped appartment. Leo and Cheryl
