AustraliaWe booked one night and ended up staying 10 days or so. The property is brand new, everything is spotless and clean. Clean bed sheet (very rare to find in India!!!!) Real shower with hot water. Wifi worked well. An alternative battery to keep electricity when electricity cut off. The location is excellent near the main temple although very busy and not accessible by car or tuk tuk when we stayed. The location is also not obvious so I would advise you to contact the property beforehand. Staff is very attentive and friendly. This is your best option in Varanasi for location, comfort, cleanliness and accomodating staff! I would highly recommend to anyone!

The temple is good and all, but the management and security...
The temple is good and all, but the management and security at the temple is terrible. There are very long queues and terribly managed at that. There is a special gate with paid entries (INR 250 per head) which supposedly reduce your time to entry in the temple, but it's so badly managed that the place to get the tickets is far off the queue to join for it, without any clear instructions or sign boards about it. There is hardly any provision for leaving behind your belongings outside your temple, and you're left to manage something yourselves. Even this "fast" paid line got us inside the temple in a total of 2 hours. This temple management seems more concerned about collecting money in the name of faster darshan, special pooja options etc, than better facilitating the convenience and safety of pilgrims.

Non Hindus are no longer allowed in the temple so find out whether this is still the case before trying to get in. Also, the place is now supposed to be extremely ugly with modern pink marble everywhere at the insistence of the Prime Minister, Modi. We stood in line for twenty minutes before being told we would not be allow in.

Again temple is beautiful but the crowd, pushing around, fighting to do the pooja is not worth it. People step on you to get ahead. Plus selling all that flowers and Prasad which just gets thrown away, so depressing to see.

Beautiful place, get a official govt guide to take you there...
Beautiful place, get a official govt guide to take you there, dont book on the website for any pooja;s, Tell you guide what you need doing and they will organise everything for you. The priests doing the pooja's will still demand money after the pooja but be fine and refuse, keep your guide with you at all times.
Get the fast track with your guide otherwise there are massive que's.

The staff were not as good as expected and the hotel is not worth it at all. There was not any private washroom even after giving 1100 INR per day. On the other hand the location of the hotel is not friendly for aged persons at all and as the hotel is located near the 2nd Gate of Shi Kashi Vishwanath Temple there was the sound of the crowd and the police throughout the day. In a nutshell I want to suggest people not to book this hotel in any circumstances.

Best check in experience in this hotel . Free wifi was available here . Bhu is just few metres away ,assi ghat just a km , kashi vishwanath temple was 10mins away. Thanks to hotel staff and manager for great service
