The location is perfect, just minutes from the Autostrade and with plenty of free parking opposite. The room was fantastic, with lovely beds and all the facilities you could need. The 2 swimming pools were also really nice, with one being shallow enough to feel comfortable with my 3 year old swimming in. Finally the staff were superb. They couldn’t do enough for you and were always lovely and charming.

The included breakfast was superb, not far from central Naples on the metro! The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the local station. Quiet little town but very easy access to Naples, Pompei and Serranto. Very friendly staff and excellent facilities. Air con!!! I had to get to the airport the next day and it was a simple metro ride and then the airport bus.

They gave me a free upgrade from a double room in the annexe to a double room in the main building. The room was spacious and clean with modern furniture. The balcony was exceptionally spacious. The air conditioning worked perfectly well. The hotel was located 12 minutes from the main train station that takes you to Napoli ( 20 minutes) and 5 minutes from the bus station (bus 808) that takes you to Vesuvius and Pompei. The pool was big enough, not very crowded and with enough sun beds in the shade or in the sun. Swimming caps are mandatory, and you can buy one from the pool guy for 2 €. Breakfast was ok, not great, not bad! Private parking with enough parking spots.

Yes go and explore : So interesting !

Yes go and explore : So interesting ! A thing (or more) to observe and understand in every houses concerning life of ancient time, lava devastation or architecture. 3 hours are quite good to go all-around. An audio guide gives you many great informations. Take your botte of water, it might be very hot in summer but you'll find plenty spaces of shade in houses or under some shelter of the streets.

More acceptable for older travellers who might be...

More acceptable for older travellers who might be overwhelmed by the scale of pompei, and really, how many old ruins can one digest in a trip before they all merge into one? I know some tour operators will offer you ercolano, pompei and vesuvius in one day. Not recommended ! At least a day for each I think . Take plenty of WATER and food with you or a loaded up credit card !! . ARE YOU A TOURIST OR A CASH COW asking to be plundered?

This is as good as Pompei but lesser area to cover.

This is as good as Pompei but lesser area to cover. If you are into Roman history, dedicate 3 hours to see the place. We took an audio guide and it was a good experience. I would still suggest to go with a guided tour as they do it faster and cover the important places.

Location was excellent if visiting Ercolano ruins it's only a 15 minutes walk away, and the train station is also a 15 minutes walk away. I spent one night here, one in Cassino and then came back for another night. I was offered the chance of staying a little later on the last morning, as my flight was not leaving until the evening, but I chose to spend the day in Naples instead with some recommendations of places to visit from the host.

Near the Ercolano ruins, at the base of Vesuvio (could be visited only if you have purchased a ticket online several weeks in advance). Clean, with bunk beds for the kids.

Salvatore the owner was 100% helpful and full of information re the area. Our room was the corner room and very spacious with lovely high ceilings. The accommodation is in an old building and on the third floor with no elevator, but the accommodation itself has been renovated to the highest standard. The location is perfect for visiting the Ercolano Ruins - just a few steps away. It is also conveniently close to various restaurants and a market.

Good location, a 10 minute walk to the Ercolano ruins and to the train station. Bed was confortable and the suite was huge. Fortunately, the room did not face the road, which was quite noisy with cars during the whole day and night. The restaurant was convenient, specially for dinners, and the food was good, but service was particularly slow.
