This hotel is wonderful. The staff are really lovely (they also gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant which uses only local produce, ask them, it was fab!) and the location is perfect; an easy walk to everything. It's so cute inside as well, just like the photos they published on here. Breakfast was great as well, and when we needed to leave before breakfast on the final morning, they packed one up for us the night before. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It was perfect.

The team was not only helpful but also knowledgeable, always providing sound information about wines, restaurants, and the city of Matera. The accommodation carved into the caves of Matera is spectacular, as is the dining room where breakfast was served. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Fantastic views of the Sassi from both the terrace and our room. We stayed in a cave room and it was lovely and comfortable. The staff here are all excellent and go above and beyond to help with any queries or bookings. We loved it

Best location for Matera sightseeing. Close to any of historical place you have to see, to any of nice restaurants you have to try. It’s very romantic especially in the night. If you have a car(rental car) with you, by the way, Matera is also great location for visiting other Puglia cities such as Alberobello.
