Great location – next door is the Basilica di San Petronio. Very clean. Thoughtful about every detail to ensure comfort for guests. Breakfast is very good. Secure parking at the hotel. Its price is a bit high, but it is still the center of Bologna.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the elegant ambiance and impeccable service. This historic gem blends luxury and comfort seamlessly. The building is extraordinary and incredibly beautiful. The room was beautifully appointed, offering a perfect retreat. The staff went above and beyond, creating a magical experience and making you feel special. The hotel’s ideal location provided convenient access to local attractions. Breakfast was delicious and offering various choices - pistachio and raspberry madeleines were my absolute favourites.

Walk to the top if you are able.

Walk to the top if you are able. It is a lot of stairs ... but it will feel more like a pilgrimage. If you are unable to make the walk there is a train in Piazza Maggiore that can drive you to the top. It is worth your time to visit and, if you walk, you will pass through kilometers of the city's stunning porticos.
