Somehow baffled by the astonishing development of Madaba, Black Iris remains for me an absolutely outstanding reference. I stayed in the new building on the 1st floor, the big room was perfectly clean, everything is brand new. But the icing on the cake are the hosts who were very helpful. To save your money and nerves, some tips valid in May 2023. First of all, use the Crown Plaza Beach Pass they offer - for a very good price you will have access to the Dead Sea until evening, umbrellas, free soft drinks and free lunch. Second, you can dine in your own restaurant and pay half for double the quality compared to ...er... outside celebrities. Third, you can pay double or triple the price for the same beer in city restaurants or the right price at your own hotel.

I shall say many thanks to the host. We arrived very early in the morning, around 0400nish. The host welcome us in a hospitality way. The food is quite delicious and all people working in this hotel are always smiling and helpful.

    Underwhelmed really, far too many people on the tour, overly expensive gift shops, small bottle of water was 2 dinars. Didnt get to see any churches apart from the Greek Orthodox one, could be better!

    Ahmed was super nice and friendly, very kind person! He greeted us and also gave us some recommendations for dinner. The apartment looks quite modern, there is a hairdryer in the bedroom which I haven't seen often in other places in Jordan. Location is okay if you have a car, plenty of space for parking. Close to the baptism site and the dead sea. AC in the room also helps massively during hot weather. My husband also loved the cats outside the building.

    A spacious sea view villa that is fully equipped, clean, neat and comfortable. it has a big pool with high end sun beds and furniture. 1 minute away from the main road and a nearby shopping mall that has a few restaurants where we managed to get dinner n drinks from. The host was also super friendly and helpful and offered much support! We stayed for three nights as the price is very affordable comparing to a hotel it was also close to touristic attractions, visited the baptism site and mount Nebo (the staff of Moses)

    The hotel has everything you need for a getaway at the dead sea. Once at the hotel there's no reason to leave! Good dining options, fitness center, pools and spa. It is also located close to the baptism site and mount Nebo which are minutes away from the hotel.
