I have never had brand loyalty to any chain until I stayed in this Dormy Inn. The breakfast was AMAZING and so very worth the extra as there’s so much variety to sample traditional Japanese breakfast. And the free late night ramen is so yummy too.

Hotel is located just above the JR train station. Shopping center and art gallery located downstairs. Tourist sites and bus station is within walking distance. Love the public bath, very clean and modern facilities. Spacious room. Good value for money!

Good location - the hotel is within walking distance to the Aomori station and bus terminal which connect to several attraction sites. Everything was working, the hotel provides nice facilities such as yukata, fabric freshener, fabric brush, and slippers. There’s also a water dispenser where guests can refill their water bottles. Some of the hotel staffs don’t speak English very well but they are helpful and informative.

Excellent representative of Daiwa Roynet hotel chain that is conveniently located for a 1-2 day tour of Aomori. Located on main street, one end at Aomori station with variety of cuisines at numerous restaurants. Even a 100 Yen shop Daiso just across the street. Konbini abound. Most attractions and station within 15 minute walk.

Beautiful view of the bay! Staff was so accommodating as we’re English speaking. Fully stocked amenity bar with high quality products. Parking is on site. It snowed very heavy the night we stayed and the front desk staff offered us a snow brush/scraper to borrow during checkout to make sure our car was clean and accessible. Within walking distance of Lawson, train station, and Shin-Machi shopping district.

Right on top of JR Aomori station. Things nearby. You can see the ocean from the hotel. Parks for the morning walks. This place has a spa “zen” type atmosphere. Clean and modern. Incredibly friendly staff. Ambient lighting in the rooms. Great breakfast with the view of the sea port. The best hotel experience in Japan thus far.

The hotel is located inside Aomori station, and the view outside the room was great. The public bath was great. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The location was really good and convenient. You have just walked around 3-5 min from Aomori station. Also, it was near to ASPAM and opposite with the department store; Sakurano. The 24-h convenient store; Lawson, also at 1F of hotel building. The room was really clean. The facilities were new and modern. The room was wide and the bed was really comfort. The best thing goes to the breakfast which is variety and really tasty. All is perfect!

Located fairly close to Aomori station and a bus stop, it’s pretty convenient to get to. The walk from Aomori station is mostly covered, but if it’s snowing hard, you can still get covered. The hotel itself is connected to a Lawson, so you can always get food or withdraw cash very easily. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the highlight of most Daiwa Roynet hotels for me is the large bathrooms. They are much bigger than standard Japanese bathrooms. Showering as a 6 foot 3 person is not uncomfortable in this bathroom.

The location is just a 15-minute walk from Aomori Station and also easily accessible by bus. The beautiful sea is only a few minutes away. During our three-day stay, we had breakfast there one morning; it was enjoyable, but we felt it wasn’t worth the price if you're paying separately from the room rate. But overall good hotel to stay and beautiful art works in the reception area.

Great value right next to Shin Aomori Station. Quiet, comfortable new hotel. Easy taxi ride to Sannai-Maruyama Jomon site, highly recommend if you are interested in Japanese history. Keep in mind that if you book a twin room at this Toyoko, it will be next to the drone of the elevators. Nice range of Japanese breakfast foods, but no milk or yogurt.
