Wow! What an amazing experience, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Convenient location right next to the train station and a short walk to the chair lift, makes this hotel an ideal location for a short ski trip from Tokyo. The rooms were large, modern and spacious with lovely traditional details throughout, and great views across the mountains. The Onsen was beautiful and the whole hotel was very clean and exceptionally maintained. After finishing in the Onsen, the complimentary ice cream was a lovely added bonus. Would recommend to anyone visiting Japan for a luxury stay for a short weekend skiing!

Very nice little lodge located close to multiple ski resorts. The staff was definitely the highlight, incredibly nice people who were very accommodating. Multiple times they would drive us in to the city when we couldn’t get a cab. The bookable private hot tub was also amazing after a day of snowboarding. We highly recommend anyone looking for an inexpensive but amazing accommodation for your ski trip or other leisure.

The location is exceptional – just a few minutes drive from Echigo Yuzawa Station and Gala Ski Resort, making it convenient for those looking to hit the slopes. Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort is also right next door. For those looking to relax after a day on the slopes, the onsen is conveniently located next to the hotel, providing a perfect way to unwind. The property itself is cozy and welcoming, with a homely atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The heating system was very effective, ensuring a comfortable stay even during the colder months. The mountain and snow views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, providing a serene backdrop for your visit. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service. The owner and staffs are incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to make guests feel at home. They even offer a convenient station drop-off service, which was a thoughtful touch. Additionally, the snowboarding coach on-site was not only knowledgeable but also kind and patient, making for a great experience on the slopes.
