We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel - we would recommend this to people coming to Kyoto. The area is nice, quiet and a short walk to the main area/metro - so location-wise it is good. They have a nice louge where there are unliited snacks and drinks - its thoughtful, and my husband and I would often chill there after a long day. Yes, the rooms are compact - but please expect that all-around Japan in this price range. But they are clean and very comfortable. The staff is polite and helpful, they kept our suitcases while we toured the city and we really appreciated that - Thank you to the staff!! We would surely come again if we're in Kyoto.

Free drink by the front desk during daytime, public bath which was not big but it was really nice temperature and comfortable layout, free locker room to leave our luggage after check out, our room has iron pot for quality tea set addition to kettle and coffees. Bathroom was separated from toilet space. Super good location near Kyoto sta. and shops.
