Love the location!! Love the traditional Japanese bedroom. The room is so nice, clean, and so cozy. The staff are great and super nice and courteous and very attentive. The breakfast was excellent.

What a wonderful stay at Takumisou1. The village in the mountains was spectacular and we spent time just exploring the town and wonderful shrine on the mountain. Akiko and her husband were the kindest hosts and picked us up at the train station, drove us to a local onson and also drove us to a restaurant for dinner. The house had ample room for our family of four (two boys aged 20 and 22) and my wife and I. The shower and bath were comfortable with lots of space. Akiko brough us breakfast each morning at 7:30 am and even made us amazing sandwiches on the day of our hike in the Kiso Valley along the Magome-Tsumago Trail. The owners also run a restaurant and hosted our family on our final night. It was truly memorable as we enjoyed our meals, a couple of drinks and had a great conversation with our new friends and hosts. I can't say enough about these two as they treated us like family and we were very sad to leave.

Amazing hosts who were very responsive and helpful. The house was very comfortable and clean, and the rooms were cozy. They also served us a tasty breakfast with fruit and sandwiches. Certainly 10/10 I would recommend to anyone staying in kiso

The place has excellent hospitality staffs and very helpful to manage all things..although the city was small city but this place present peacefulness and hospitality

Great location, great breakfast

The hosts are wonderful people. They prepared amazing dinner and breakfast for us and helped us with all our questions. Generally the host himself was very talkative and interested in our trip and gave us some insights into the surroundings.
