Rooms were a little smaller than this class of hotel. The public bath was not impressive (no outdoor pool) but it was always deserted when I used it. The hotel is connected to Nagoya Station though it's tricky to negotiate. LOTS of high quality restaurants underground. The staff were well trained, communicative, engaging, and friendly--very RARE in Japan. The key word is "engaging". It is about 6-7 minutes walk away from the Shinkansen exit of Nagoya station, it was really easy to get around. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby all in walking distance. Staff were helpful and friendly, a lot of complimentary goods like all Japanese hotels. The room can comfortably hold 2 people. It is a little bit older but the benefit outweighs the negatives.
