Excellent location close to train station and everything happening in Takyama. Welcoming friendly staff at the desk. Fabulous hotel with exceptionally delightful, clean facilities and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds with quality bed linen. Wonderful spa and spa space. Delicious traditional breakfast. Happy hour with generous sake tasting, beer and orange juice. The temple was very special to stay in. the monk trainee welcomed us warmly and explained everything to us . We slept on very good futons and the shower was wonderful The next morning he explained nice how we could meditate so all was a great experience we will not forget

The location of the hotel is literally 1min walk from the train station! It was such a breeze to push my heavy luggage down the escalator, cross the road and within seconds I spot the hotel. The entrance is beside Hid's cafe & bar. I love takayama and it's beef. The hotel room is nice, cost with a wooden bathtub. Heater works well despite the cold night temperature of 4degree. I stayed on the 4th floor which has 2 other units and it has washing machine and dryer! I will come back again! The reception is polite and nice.
