Everything was perfect: a very nice hotel in a good location with friendly and polite staff, a great view of the city with a foot bath where you can have a Japanese bento breakfast (you need to pick it up at the reception in the morning, free ice cream and coffee all day), a clean room with everything you need, a great onsen. Thank you.

We had no expectations out of Good Nature Hotel, but it was an amazingly pleasant surprise! First, it is conveniently located near bus and train stations, very close to Kyoto station too. It is within walking distance from Nishiki Market, which is a must-visit while in Kyoto (first or 45th time, you have to go). The hotel itself is VERY pretty, as soon as you enter the lobby you feel immersed in the eco-friendly and peaceful atmosphere they've achieved to create. The room was incredibly spacious and very tastefully decorated; this was one of our favorite hotels we've ever stayed at.

Modern hotel, nicely done, well kept and sparkling clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good English. Cosy lobby with tea/ coffee and terrace for people watching. Ample room, perfect for a family of 3. Good beds! Location, location, location. Within 10 min walk you find Nishiki market, Gion, malls, arcades, plenty of cafes, restaurants, street stalls, temples and metro/ bus stops to take you anywhere.

You can visit it at day and at night. Is like two different places with different experiences to experiment. You can find local restaurants and little Izakaya where you can eat the local cuisine. If you go, most of them only speak Japanese so you better know your way around the language. Or you can go with a guide. Eat in the river banks to enjoy a peaceful and picturesque experience.
