The location is great, next to Senso Ji temple, with many izakayas and restaurants nearby. The rooms are very quiet, we didn't hear the sounds of the street, or the noises of other guests. The staff was really helpful. It was nice to have some drip coffee among the amenities.

Excellent location close to 3 stations (Tokyo metro, Toei & JR, all named Asakusa). The hotel sells the Japan Metro/Toei 72 hour pass (not valid on JR), which is a great deal for getting around. The metro station is just opposite, with a department store above. The basement selling food is great for buying breakfast (the hotel breakfast ends at 10+,am as their lunch service starts from 11.30am) or dinner (20-30% off most cooked food e.g. yakitori, croquette, bento etc. in the food hall after 6 or 7pm, as the mall closes at 8pm. The famous Ichiran Ramenses just next door. Perfect base for visiting Asakusa and the rest of Tokyo (Shinjuku is about 40 minutes away by metro; Akihabara & Ginza about 20 minutes away.) Beds are wider than normal and can comfortably fit an adult & a child (can share bed for free, up to 12 years old). Be aware though that the Twin B room only has standing space between the bed and all 3 walls/window. 2 cushioned chairs & a small table are provided but it's often covered by our stuff as there's storage, except for under the bed. There is a small cupboard where the cups are kept, and a shallow drawer under the TV. No wardrobe for clothes but there are about 8 hangers (of which 2 for pants) on 2 clothes knob in the entrance, which is quite narrow. It's great that the toilet is separate from the bathroom (Japanese deep bathtub + shower so you can DIY an onsen experience), and the sink is outside. Shower pressure / jet is strong & powerful and makes for good massage after a day of sightseeing. Staff are all very helpful and I never had to wait long for check-in, check-out, to enquire, to request more towels or borrow umbrella etc. Laundrette is 500¥ for 3kg wash & dry. Our room had a view of the Sumida River & Asahi building. I'm definitely recommending this hotel! (if your credit card has a good rate, choose to settle in JPY instead of your home currency proposed by the payment terminal)

The room I reserved was very spacious and came with a well equipped kitchen and 2 different areas to sit/eat which was great for a longer stay. It is rare to find that much space in Tokyo at an affordable price. Everything was perfect and I really enjoyed discovering the little local restaurants and cafe nearby.

It was a perfect stay for our family with 2 small children, since they could sleep in a small separate bedroom (futons) with a sliding door. This was difficult to find in Tokyo and it was the perfect solution for us. The location was perfect, great to explore Asakusa on foot and really close to the metro Ginza line. It was quiet and clean and personnel was very friendly.

Asakusa is very commercialized, so be very careful about the food stalls and how much you spend. Many items can be found cheaper at a Donki. I still recommend going to experience the spirituality of Senso-ji.

I liked this temple and surrounding garden and shrines a lot. We came back twice, as we wanted to experience the atmosphere during the evening as well. Just like everything in Japan, it can be extremely crowded during the day, I am talking about masses and masses of tourists but if you get up super early, you can beat the crowds.

Absolutely overrun by tourists during the day, even off-season. If you're really interested in this place, please make sure to learn about local customs, keep in mind that this is a place of worship, and then come here in the early morning to see what it can be like. Don't be a dick. Respect that people actually come here for praying, and try not to shove your phone into their faces as they do.

Give yourself time to explore the market and shops nearby. Take an opportunity to stay in the Temple complex and soak up the culture, so many visitors are in there traditional Kimonos and formal wear as this is a 'working' temple, so beautiful.

Asakusa, where the Sensoji Temple is located, is one of our favourite areas to explore. Kappabashi Street, is a colourful street of beautiful kitchen knives, bowls, tea & sake cups, kitchen goods, and more. Beyond the main roads, its feels very livable and comfortable, with small local shops to discover.

The oldest temple in Japan I read (or maybe the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan). A beautiful temple complex and one of the prime sights of Tokyo. I was lucky enough to be staying a couple of minutes walk away, so walked through it or past it every day of my stay.

The hotel’s location is fantastic—right next to Tawaramachi Station—offering excellent connectivity not only throughout the city but across the country thanks to Japan’s well-connected rail network. It’s also within walking distance of Sensoji Temple. Conveniently, there’s a 7-Eleven just across the street that’s open 24 hours and includes an ATM. The area is filled with eateries as well, making it easy to find great food at any time.
