It’s not just a hotel, it’s an amazing experience, you are staying close to nature and you can meet a lot of animals on the territory of the hotel. The interior of the hotel is very stylish. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good, nothing like very special but a lot of choices, coffee was good. A lot of options for dinner, you can get buffet for around 20 $ or you can have fancy romantic dining in a cave for approximately 400 $. Small details were well chosen in the hotel, the room is simple but I love it, there is relaxing music that you can turn on and also small candle that you can fire and put near jacuzzi with amazing view.

Royal Rock is a quiet, peaceful haven handy for Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. The food is excellent, service attentive but not intrusive and the ambience is most relaxing. The rooms all have a view of a lion rock and paddy filed which is home to varieties of birdlife. There is a comfortable pool to cool off in and rooms are cozy.

One of the best stays of our 2 month trip in Sri Lanka! Best value for money. The room was spacious and clean, great shower with hot water, and breakfast could be enjoyed on the little veranda every morning. The bed was sooooo comfortable!! Location is a bit out of town which for us was ideal, since we enjoy going on walks and exploring our surroundings. The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, and helped us to rent a scooter, and took us in and out of town when we needed. Sigiriya was just a short ~30min scooter ride away, Dambulla cave temple is just around the corner. For us this was the perfect end to our trip in Sri Lanka, thank you!!

It’s a beautiful hotel in a spectacular place. We went to Dambulla cave temple by foot. The area is quiet and serene, with a beautiful lake. Comfortable rooms. High water pressure and hot water without any issues. Very good food (we had both breakfast and dinner). Lovely, helpful staff. Few mosquitoes. Lovely little flower heart for our honeymoon.

The guest house is very close to the Dambulla cave temple, you can reach it with a 10 minutes walk. It’s a very quiet location immersed in nature. The highlight of our stay was the kindness of the staff and the meals: dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious! So far the best rice and curry we had in Sri Lanka.

This is a new and beautiful accommodation. The room had everything you could need, including air conditioning and a hairdryer. The location is stunning: right in the middle of nature and close to the Dambulla Cave Temple, Pidurangala, and Lion Rock. The breakfast was generous and delicious, with the option to choose between Western or Sri Lankan style. The host Chamila was also very attentive and available for anything we needed.

The apartment is located in a very peaceful and beautiful area, just a few minutes’ walk from the Dambulla Cave Temple. Nuwan was very kind and always ready to offer helpful advice. They assist with organizing transportation, tours of the Eco Park and elephants, and his mother prepares delicious dinners. They also help with ordering food from local restaurants, and are truly willing to assist and give advice with absolutely everything.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at home with their warm hospitality and friendly service. The manager is an amazing and kind person, and not only as regards the guest house, but also very helpful with tips and what to visit next in Sri Lanka. Also, location is walking distance from the Dambulla Cave Temple and every bus to Kandy or Sirigya stops nearby. Breakfast was also included and delicious and on request you can also order dinner there (which I did, and I was fully satisfied).

It’s proximity to both Dambulla Cave Temple and Golden Temple were excellent. Virtually a ten minute walk from the hotel. The staff here were super friendly and always with a smile. We found this hotel very generous offering to drop us into town and laundry service also. The pool was very nice and refreshing with a swim up bar and food available at poolside. Perfect for cooling off after our walk up and down the mountain. Dambulla town itself is not much, we took just over an hour to look around before walking back to the Hotel.

The rooms were big, cozy and very new with all amenities. The bathroom were very clean as compared to other properties we stayed in Sri Lanka. The host was kind enough to give us ride to dambulla cave temple as well as dropped us to bus station in his tuk tuk without any charge. Definitely more worth than the charges we paid! Will recommend!

I was staying in the hostel room and it was a brand new and comfortable place. Room and toilets/bathroom were clean and neat. The breakfast was provided. The host and the staff were friendly and helpful and guided me for next day planning. I was happy about the location as it is walking distance to the Dambulla cave temple and tuk-tuk distance for the Sigiriya. Thumbs up!!!
