The Kasbah is a beautiful oasis in the Skoura palmeraie oasis, tastefully decorated and curated in every detail. It can be reached easily via car: though there are no directions on the road itself (which is understandable), Waze or Google maps provide perfect indications and the property sends you messages with directions - it's very difficult to miss. The kasbah is just out of a dream: cypresses surround the gardens and the pool, the sundbeds have soft sun-bathing mattresses, there's several pieces of Morrocan furnitures in all the spaces. They provide dinner with a fixed menu, which was very tasty and had a reasonable price, given they source everything organically and they have very high standards. The staff goes out of their way to quickly provide you with Morroccan tea and towels and they communicate in French and English and we had no problem at all with communication: special mention to Mohammed who would always try to anticipate your needs with a smile and a welcoming approach. We had a room on the last floor overlooking the pool and the palmeraie, which was a breathtaking view. The room had a cozy bed area, and another two rooms for the toilet and the bathroom, where hot water never lacked. There may be drafts coming from doors and windows, which are perfectly manageable with all the blankets provided in the room: these are minor inconveniences that can be expected given it's an old (despite perfectly renovated) building in the middle of Skoura. What a great place to stay, with wonderful staff that makes you feel very welcome! The owner came around to greet us and especially Rida was very helpful! Thanks a lot and we will come back with more time and to enjoy the pool :) oh and the beds were super comfy and huuuge

The staff, the pool, the food and the breakfest

We were pleasantly surprised by their kind hospitality and Nadia passionately shared her knowledge on their culture and heritage during our stay. It’s a beautiful and peaceful accommodation, very kind people, best dinner we had in Marocco and we had breakfast on the rooftop with an amazing tranquil view.

We are cycle tourers and this was a perfect stay for us. The location was easy to cycle to and our tandem was stored safely inside. The room was very authentic but was great for all our needs. Good shower, high quality linen, balcony with views over the countryside, great heating, and mosquito netting on the window. Abdul and his family were very welcoming and cooked delicious food for us (best tagine in our 25 days in morocco so far). The renovated kasbah is also a museum and holds community events so was a really interesting place, and Abdul was super helpful talking about the area and the cycle route we were preparing for the next couple of weeks. We would definitely recommend this for couples, friends and families travelling in the area.
