Definitely one of the top hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The location among vast bush is magnificent. The hotel staff was much beyond average- cheerful, friendly, making sure we just have the best time there. We also loved the sauna - it’s not that common to find a decent sauna in New Zealand.

Friendly staff in a beautiful house made it hostel! with outstanding surroundings. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was clean, tidy and with all the necessary implements to cook. Also, lots of space in fridge and shelves for your food. The bathroom was nice too, hot shower, towel, body wash and clean! And the common areas is just beautiful, with lots of gameboards and a fire pit that should be amazing for cold winters. If I have the opportunity to comeback to Piha, I'll choose Piha backpackers to stay no matter what! Good job Piha Backpackers, wish you the best. :)

The views are incredible. The apartment is very cozy and you can feel you are living on a tree. It has everything you need for your staying.

The hotel is centrally located in Henderson and public transportation is very close. Reception was warm and welcoming and all facilities including the room were very clean. The bed was amazing!! The room is well equipped and there is filtered water and microwave in the lobby which is excellent. We stayed 2 nights and a month later chose to stay another 2 nights and would definitely stay again. Safe and clean and friendly. They went out of the way to accommodate our every need.

Very very cute cottage, very comfortable and quiet! We loved being tucked away from it all. Even though everything you need is only 10 mins away, great escape.
