GermanyMy wife and I loved our stay at Big Boys Bed & Burger. The room was clean and had air conditioning, a fan, a big bathroom with a window, and a balcony. The bed was very comfortable – we slept so well. Even though the location is central, it was very quiet.
The best part was the super friendly staff, especially Ernest, the manager. He took great care of us, was always available, and checked in often to make sure we were happy. The burger place downstairs is also amazing. They serve fantastic burgers made with Australian dry-aged beef.
Everything was perfect for us. We would love to come back. Highly recommended!

The location of hotel is perfect for and the isolation is impressive. You can’t hear anything from outside.

The rooms are set back from the main street, very peaceful and comfortable. Try to get a ground floor poolside room if you can.

Packed streets, eyes stinging from car fumes or onions being cooked 💪🏼 and constantly being hassled by Indians to buy their terrible goods 😩
The Thais however are absolutely insane and just want to drink red bull shots and show you their new lights under their tuk tuks 🤣🤣

Depending on your age and personality type it can turn into quite a vibe . I don’t personally enjoy being harassed at the level which we were with the night life and offering of drugs and ping pong . However with a group of friends travelling together it could be very entertaining

go early there is a great out door eating area apart from the bars that also do meals........ suggest you stick to the outdoor freshly cooked wonderful food though.......
So go early eat early then park up on a bar stool and watch the fun........ certainly leave the kids at the hotel this road can scare them it is load busy, pushy and the bright lights flash constantly I see children under 10 looking terrified in dads arms so leave them at the hotel baby sitters are cheap and the Walking Street is best after 10pm

Not much going on during the day but head up after 8 at...
Not much going on during the day but head up after 8 at night and see the buskers at work. Saw some amazing hip hop break dancers, a couple of great singers and a mime. Also if you’d like to see the ladyboys in all there get up then head up at night and for 100bhat you can get a photo with them. Lots of places do cheap beer 🍺 and cocktail 🍹 deals. Get a massage on the 🏖️ beach. Or just kick back in a lounge chair for a few bhat on the 🏝️ beach and watch the day go by.

If you are prudish then this is not for you. Bars bars and more bars with the locals attempting to pull you in to their place but always respectfully. The normal ladies / ladyboys giving you an invitation if you so wish but not offended when you say no thank you plus nice food bars for that time when you need to soak up the alcohol. Please note if you agree to buy a lady in a bar a drink it is double the price of your own. Hey you are on holiday and it's not so expensive 😎😎

Pro tip - Those who are looking at my comment are most likely super social folks. As per Phuket trends due to recent lockdowns and easing, prices have skyrocketed. Stay sober if you do not want to be scammed.

The room has a fresh nice smell so refreshing, the location is 100% , it’s just 10minutes walk to Bangla Road and Patong beach and very strategically placed there’s two 7/11 just by the hotel . Rooms are extremely clean and their cleaning service is 100% .

Amazing hotel, beautiful reception area and rooms and pool area. The spa was great and good value for money as the treatments were great. Location was brilliant only a 10/15 minute walk to bangla road and patong beach. Breakfast was very nice with a wide choice. The room was very big and clean and nice view overlooking the pool area. Would definitelt stay here again.

The staff was incredible; from arrival to departure, the ladies were extremely attentive, providing information and always looking out for my needs. The room was very spacious, and despite nearby construction, I didn't hear any noise at all.
The location is also fantastic-the hotel is only a 15-minute walk from Bangla Road. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!

LOCATION IS PERFECT! Situated just off the busy street by Patong Beach, and only a short walk from Bangla Road, this hotel was an ideal spot for us. The beach is literally just a minute’s walk away, and there’s a 7-Eleven right next door for added convenience. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, but also enjoyed being close to plenty of places to eat, shop, and explore both day and night.
The hotel itself is fantastic — clean, with fresh white sheets, bright rooms, and great pools. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful

The location was perfect for us as we wanted a quieter place but walkable to the hotspots. Bangla Road was a 17 mins lazy walk from the hotel. The nearest 7 eleven was just 4 minute walk. The rooms were clean and so was the pool. We booked all our tours from Mark who runs an excellent tailor shop next to the hotel. He gave us very good deals.

The Expat Hotel is one of my preferred hotels in Patong. I have stayed here 4 or 5 times in the past and will do so in the future. It is a 2 minute walk to Bangla Road, yet quiet at night if you need to sleep, great pool, a/c in room every good, excellent food. Staff are just perfect. I am already look to book my next stay in 2026.

This hotel was right in the heart of Patong so if you like to be close to shops, restaurants, bars and Bangla Road this is the right place. The rooms were very clean and staff VERY helpful. We are a family 4 who stayed in two room for a few nights for shopping and food.

Second time I have stayed here. Short walk to beach, Bangla Road and Otop. 7 eleven and super cheap on road out the front. Very quiet. Always perfectly clean. Opposite Patong Whiskey who supply most alcohol in Patong. They have a shop a few doors down on same side as this hotel. Cheapest place I have seen in Thailand to buy alcohol - happy days.

if you want more normal food than thai food go to bangla kebab at bangla road they have a super kebab for 100 baht if you a to thai food try to go next to fresh market there is a lot go street kitchens with super food for no money almost. about 50 baht.
