The staff, the room, the comfort the breakfast and the location are incredible. Breakfast was abundant to a point that we didn't need to have lunch. A quick walk to the Topkapi, Santa Sophia and the Blue Mosque as well as the Cisterna Basilica. The restaurant advice was excellent and even the tour info was really good. The staff is very polite and helpful and spoke good English which made things easy. They advised us on transportation issues and for shopping areas. I liked it all and sure would love to go back.

Our room was super quiet, because it fronted to inner courtyard, and that was what we wanted - no street noise at all. Breakfast view is just super. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Galata Tower - you can see them all.

“Hotel de charme” in Turkish. Outstanding! 3 mins from Hagi Sofia. Room windows with flowers and (lucky me) a great view. Breakfast in a garden with ruins. No elevator, as duly warned… but beautiful spiral staircase,

There is nothing to complaing about. From their location to staff, breakfast buffet, room, cleanliness, everything was top notch. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I definitely will be whenever I'm visiting Istanbul in the future. Their staff was really helpful and informative. They can give suggestion on when and where to go. I feel like I'm staying at a 5 stars hotel with their hospitality. This hotel also has the best rooftop view

Hagia Sophia

In 537 AD, Hagia Sophia began life as a church, before becoming an Ottoman mosque in 1453. The largest cathedral in the world for almost a thousand years, this majestic building is considered one of the finest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture. Today, you can explore its vast structure from the inside with a visit to the museum that’s now housed within the walls.

Not worth the money to go! Very dissapointing. Also they try to swindle you & upsell on the ticket price from €25 to €50, so you end up paying double for a less than mediocre experience. Avoid at all cost.

Queues, Queues and more queues. But worth it. Do not bother with the AR experience which costs an extra 1250 TL (£25) each. The entrance is roughly £25 to get in if you buy it at the ticket office, make sure you ask for the basic tour otherwise they include the AR experience as a default. Amazing mosaics and beautiful architecture.

This greekorthodox monument, one of the greatest for the christianity worldwide, is questionably managed by the modern Turkish state, after it was recently converted to a mosque (since there are so many of them, I really wonder why) The entrance for the tourists is allowed only at the 2nd floor, missing that way, an amazing perspective of this exceptional temple, that you can have only from the ground floor. You simply get half the pleasure! At least, you can have a glance of the unique mosaics covered by white pieces of cloth, due to religious restrictions. Anyway, don't miss it!

Sadly tourists can only go around the upper level. Previously you could get in on the ground floor and experience the wonderful open space of the huge dome above you. It is still possible to see some of the dome and the structure is very interesting but a slight disappointment. However , it is an amazing old structure. Small number of mosaics still visible. Better and more extensive mosaics at the Kariye Camii if mosaics are of interest.

This was the most incredible part of Istanbul.

This was the most incredible part of Istanbul. Again ensure proper attire or you have to pay for covering. The interplay of Christianity and the Muslim faith, and neither chose to desicrate the other. Just be aware that you will only be able to visit the upper section unless you're a practising muslim.

The Hotel is situated in almost the very center of Stambul around 300 m to Hagia Sophia and basically over the Basilica Cistern. It is small, but the luxurious interiors make up for it. The breakfast was very simple, but I didn't mind especially since most of the time it looked like I was the only visitor. The room was cleaned everyday, and fresh bottls of water were added to the freezer. Overall time well spend with variety of tourists locations in the close proximirty. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location was fantastic. We left early in the morning and easily walked to places like Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. Our room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. There was always hot water in the bathroom. The air conditioning worked very well. The cleaning staff was meticulous, and we were very pleased.

The hotel was in a fabulous location for visiting Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern etc. Quietly situated on a side street just off the main route down to these attractions. Our room was spacious and comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was to a good standard with plenty to choose from and a spectacular view. Nice touches to provide free bottled water in the room daily and a gift of Turkish Delight on checking out.

It made sightseeing extremely easy for us.
